I haven’t updated in so long. SO much has happened that I’ve documented and been too busy or too lazy to write about.
1. David and Cheri’s wedding, trip to LA, and to the Bay Area to see my Parents. AMAAZZZING
2. Going to Grace and Kenyan’s home and barn in Warwick, NY for the Renaissance Faire. An epic weekend of dress up, barbecues, s’more roasting, all night dance parties
3. Brimfield, MA and Boston for the hugest most epic flea market of all time. Three days, ultimate treasures.
4. Getting signed to an agency! I have a rep now. I feel so legit. Thanks Giant Artists. I am STOKED
I’ll start posting starting pictures in a few
So, due to shitty economy, I’m diversifying. First it was at Hush and now I’m at Brand New School working on an illustration-based project (maybe I’m not allowed to say for whom? Or post my drawings?)
I’ve spent the past week drawing cars and Double Decker buses, bedroom and bathroom furnishings, buildings and cobblestone bridges, patterns (plaids, delicate florals, kooky textiles), and creating a whole hand-drawn world soon to be populated with cute girls. Then it becomes a commercial airing all over the UK. Very cool.
Tonight I’m teaching myself how to mask things out and make crazy patterns with overlays. Pretty bananas that I’ve been using Photoshop for years but never really used the mask tool. I fail. But not for long-I expect to be an After Effects, CS4, motion graphics wizard in the coming weeks!

Ok. I redid my website. Check it out here
I’ll probably add a newer logo, hand letter the categories, cluster the art differently, and create an “archive” category. We’ll see, still ironing out the kinks.
I’ve been slacking on the blog because I’m trying to redo my website with indexhibit.
Carbonmade is a great template-based website and I like that I can host my video there, but I can’t customize it enough. I want to be able to cluster some of the work together in ways that are currently impossible.
So, I’m trying my luck elsewhere. Unfortunately, I’m horrible at coding and struggling to personalize their template. Plus, I am not sure which images to include. But! when it’s done it will look very professsh so it’s worth it. I think.
Here are some portfolios that use indexhibit:
+ Justin Gabbard
+ Steven Burke
+ Cristobal Schmal
So, to anyone who tried to comment in the last month or two and couldn’t or couldn’t wrap their head around the login process I set up… things will be different now.
I spent sometime trying to figure out the intricacies of wordpress and installed some plugins. Hopefully now the spam will not be an issue and my friends will write and say hello.
Hello!
