wow, time is totally flying by and i can't believe i haven't updated this site in, now what has become, two months!

i'm back in nyc and on my "winter break." i think i will return to school for the spring semester (which starts late january) but only part time and try interning for a magazine's art director. i just don't know where would suit me best. i'm looking into rollingstone, the new yorker, papermagazine, or jane. maybe some others depending on their availibilty. things are back to normal in my life and i have been taking pleasure in really simple things and find myself being very domestic. i buy flowers, put up shelves, clean, obsess over ebay and make "art." i've met some nice new people and have kids over for hot chocolate and connect four. oh, and my sister stayed for a week with me during new years and i got to be a tourist with her for a few days and saw cabaret and went to some museums. i want to go ice skating and rollerskating next. i got vintage rollerskates for the holidays!

i finally got pins made and there should be a link about how to order them on the front page.

there will be stickers soon, and if i get my act together, i will start making clothing... but for myself mostly. i am planning on purchasing a sewing machine and creating a bunch of shirts that are modified or silkscreened and altered beyond just sewing felt animals on them. recently that's what i've been doing, sewing felt birds and trying to be "creative" in my own small ways. i recently discovered cafepress so i'd like to get some (free) merch from them and have some reasonably priced shirts or totebags. they make it way too easy. i am trying very hard to update this site more frequently. i made a lot of new art and there should be collages, girls with guitars, and other new drawings very soon!
