01/2002 – 06/2002                           The New Yorker Magazine, Art Department Assistant (internship)

Helped prepare images for production, researching artworks and reference materials, packing and delivering art to illustrators and learning both sides of the magazine and freelance illustration business.

 

05/2001 - 10/2001                            gURL.com, Web Designer (internship)

Worked with the art director in creating e-cards, icons, illustrations, and images. Involved in designing and illustrating pages within the site, collaborative work on a featured comic as well as a second published two page comic in their magazine “Deal With It”.

 

01/2001 - 05/2001                            Alleged Galleries, Administrative Assistant (internship)

Involved in representing gallery to artists and clientele, transacting sales, and initiating the procedures required in setting up openings and shows.

 

2000 (summer)                                Promotions, Grand Royal Records

Co-representative of At-The-Drive-In's New York promotional campaign. Also involved in checking retail channel's stock, sales, and representation.
